Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Manager
St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is seeking a candidate to fill a full-time Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Manager.
St. Augustine Preparatory Academy is a K4-12 Christian School on Milwaukee’s South side that opened in the summer of 2017. The school is a student-centered environment where young learners take ownership of their education not only in academics, but also physical health, creativity, and faith. Our graduates will go on to achieve their highest potential and make our city, and ultimately the world, a better place.

The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The FACE Manager will supervise at least one direct report in the FACE department.
The FACE Manager has three key areas of responsibility: community relationships, family programming, and new student recruitment. In each of these areas, the role will include developing the vision/strategy and subsequently implementing that strategy.
The FACE Manager will:
-Develop the vision and strategy for community relationships, family programming, and student recruitment
-Develop and maintain relationships with key community partners
-Create opportunities for community partners to interact with Augustine Prep students and families
-Represent Augustine Prep at community events
-Create and implement programs that strengthen family relationships as well as offer important services to families (examples include chapel/worship, holiday celebrations, ESL courses, financial literacy workshops, etc.)
-Develop and implement a school-wide new student recruiting strategy (Note: In 2020-2021 we expect to need to recruit around 100-200 new students, as our continuing students will feed most of our grades)
-Coordinate with administration in each school regarding communication for family and recruiting events (newsletters, family emails, posters, public notices, etc.)
-Collaborate with a variety of school departments, including academics, student support, enrollment, fundraising, athletics, and operations
-A belief in the ability of every child and a commitment to ensure excellence for each student
-Participating member in a local Church
-Outgoing and friendly demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of Milwaukee community organizations, nonprofits, and social services
-Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree a plus, but not required
-Effective oral and written communication skills
-Skilled in strategic planning, project management, and organization development; able to balance a focus on big picture priorities while not losing sight of the annual goals and objectives
-Managerial skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and oversee others
-A desire to continually learn, as well as a flexible attitude to grow and change as the organization does
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to work independently without close oversight but also a team player committed to the Augustine Prep mission and model
-Lastly and most important, the candidate must demonstrate and possess the highest integrity and be able to live the values, beliefs, and culture of Augustine Prep
