Angela Crisp began her artistic career with her first international art exhibition at Far Eastern University in Khabarovsk, Russia. There, she conducted a presentation for the students and university faculty. Since then she has continued to hold local exhibitions in both the greater Chicago and Milwaukee areas.
Angela’s teaching experience began as a painting instructor at a Paint Wine studio in Waukesha where she taught adults how to paint step by step acrylic paintings. Afterwards, she continued her career both as an art teacher and a studio manager at the Glenview School of Arts where she focused on developing realistic drawing and painting techniques in students aged five to fourteen. Recently, she worked as an art teacher at a Title 1 school in the Milwaukee area where she taught K-8 art and held an afterschool Art Club. She also taught an oil painting class for adults at the Continuing Education Department of a local state university.
Angela is joining St. Augustine Preparatory Academy in the year 2019 as a High School Fine Arts Teacher.
Angela received a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University and has recently made the decision to continue her education in the arts at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
