Hannah Mayes High School Special Education Paraprofessional

Mrs. Mayes is a 2020 graduate from Maranatha Baptist University of Watertown, Wisconsin where she received a Bachelors in Communication Arts and a minor in Biblical Counseling.  During her educational career, she was extremely involved in programs within and outside of her university. Mrs. Mayes worked for the university’s Guest Relations Center and social media team, coached speech and drama on the high school and college level, judged at fine arts competitions, served in dorm leadership, and participated in the drama department.

For her major, Mrs. Mayes directed and designed a full production of “Tuck Everlasting” for her senior recital to showcase her undergraduate work. For her minor capstone, she developed and presented a full 8 week counseling program for those struggling with issues such as abuse, eating disorders, and anxiety.

Originally from Illinois, Mrs. Mayes is elated to move Wisconsin where she and her soon-to-be husband will continue to work and serve. Through her experiences and studies, Mrs. Mayes has recognized her passion to help students and their families see Christ through providing counsel, continuing education, knowing the culture, and encouraging creativity. She is excited to join the Aug Prep team and start her new career as a high school paraprofessional.
