Angelica Nungaray

Mrs. Nungaray was born and raised on the south side of Milwaukee. She attended Mount Mary University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education in 2014.

During her undergrad program, Mrs. Nungaray participated in several art exhibitions including a senior fine art exhibition showcasing her undergraduate work. She also worked on a volunteer art project to help bring art back into the German Immersion School of Milwaukee. During her time at Mount Mary she had the opportunity to work for the University teaching art classes to a group of homeschooled children for a semester.

Prior to joining the Aug Prep family, Ms. Nungaray taught middle school art at Prince of Peace School in Milwaukee. During her time there she was able to work in partnership with the Milwaukee Art Museum through the Junior Docent School program. Through this program she helped introduce and reinforce art skills, vocabulary, history and creative writing to students while developing their critical thinking skills.

Mrs. Nungaray joined the Aug prep Family in 2017 as one of the founding teachers. She recently graduated her first Advisory class and is excited to meet her new advisory group, class of 2025.
