Melissa Roder

Ms. Roder comes to Augustine Prep with an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and over ten years of teaching experience. She completed her student teaching in Milwaukee Public Schools and knew God was calling her to urban education. Ms. Roder taught K4 for two years at a Lutheran school on the northside of Milwaukee, then transitioned to K5 for the next 5 years. In 2015, she was a founding teacher at a Christian school in Pewaukee where she taught 3rd grade. In 2016, God called her back to a Christian school serving at risk students on the northside of Milwaukee where she taught 2nd grade, then transitioned back to K5.

In 2018, Ms. Roder, joined the Aug. Prep. family as a K5 teacher. She will use her skills in reading interventions to reach each child’s needs. She hopes to help her students recognize their God given gifts. She is excited to share her passion for learning and her love for her Savior with her students and families.
