Guadalupe Torres

Born and raised in the south side of Milwaukee, Mrs. Torres graduated from Alverno College in 2008 with a degree in Business and Management. She started working at Milwaukee Public Schools in 2008 as paraprofessional where her passion for bilingual education began. She saw the need for bilingual educators and decided to enroll in a teacher certification program where she received her Early Childhood to Middle Childhood license, as well as a bilingual certification. Mrs. Torres continued her education earning a Master of Arts in Education in Teacher Leadership at Silver Lake of the Holy Family in 2014.

Mrs. Torres work experience includes teaching K4 Head-Start and K5 for over 10 years. She is looking forward to building relationships with students, families and staff at St. Augustine’s and continuing her passion for education.
