Charlene Turner

Ms. Turner graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. She received her BA in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education. After teaching for a year in Oregon, she journeyed to New York City to begin a full-time kids ministry with Metro World Child, based out of Brooklyn. It was there that she cultivated a deep love for working in urban education.

Ms. Turner then swapped coasts, living in San Diego, CA for ten years, working in the San Diego Unified School District. 

She is very passionate about seeing young people discover and achieve their full potential. It is her desire to foster an environment where her students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. She loves being a part of the Aug Prep family!
