Arrival and Dismissal Tips & Tricks

  • Review the map here. 
  • Always use crosswalks (kids and adults both!). 
  • Pull your car all the way forward in the line. 
  • High school students may NOT park in the school lots. 
  • Elementary School
    • If you only have elementary students, we recommend arriving between 7:40am - 7:55am to avoid traffic.
    • Once in the arrival lane, wait for the whistle to let your children out of the car. 
    • Use your blinkers to indicate you are joining the elementary line. 
    • If you have an elementary student and older students, either:
      • Drop everyone at the elementary school, older students can walk to the other building.
      • OR Drop at the middle/high school first then drive to the elementary school. 
 
Dismissal
    • Elementary dismissal begins at 2:45pm, middle/high school is not until 3:15pm. 
    • Ensure your child knows the make, model and color of your car. 
    • For middle and high school families, plan where you will meet your student after school. Encourage your child to move promptly to you and not linger. 
    • Elementary walker pickup: check in at door #5 (off Harrison)and provide your name to a staff member with an ipad, then go to door #4 to wait for your child.
    • If a 6-12th grade student is picking up an elementary sibling, they must check in at door #5 and give their name. If you do NOT want an older sibling able to pick up an elementary child, please call the office in advance to let us know.
    • Elementary parents will receive a checkout tag in their child’s folder on Wednesday, 8/20. Please place this tag on your dashboard/windshield for pickup. 
    • Only cross Harrison Ave. at crosswalks.
