Upper Elementary (3–5)
Upper Elementary students at Aug Prep enjoy a vibrant general music experience each week that not only nurtures musical skills but also invites them to glorify God through music. They build a strong instrumental foundation with ukuleles, African drums, recorders, keyboards, and xylophones, while also developing rhythm and tonal skills in a variety of meters and tonalities. Students sing a wide range of repertoire, from traditional folk songs to contemporary Christian music, using their voices as an instrument of praise.

In addition to classroom music, students have the opportunity to join the after-school choir, where they grow as vocal musicians, learn to collaborate in community, and share their faith through song. Whether performing in small groups, large ensembles, or exploring music from cultures around the world, students experience music as both a gift and a means of worship, strongly reflecting one of Aug Prep’s mission of faith.
