Provides emergency shelter for youth aged 11-17, plus crisis counseling services for youth aged 18-21.

Walker’s Point

Provides temporary shelter and crisis support to youth in crisis ages 11-17 who are experiencing family or other problems. Counseling is available by appointment or walk-in to youth who just need to talk.

Youth Crisis Stabilization Facility
We support girls ages 9–17 experiencing a mental health crisis. We offer short-term crisis stabilization and treatment services in a safe, trauma-informed setting, helping youth return to the community with new skills and a success plan.

La Causa Crisis Nursery Respite
The CNRC is the only facility of its kind in Wisconsin, providing a safe haven to children, birth to 12, as families face homelessness, domestic violence, medical needs, or other emergencies. Children can stay a few hours or up to three days. In addition to care in times of crisis, parents are also able to request respite care for their children during times of high stress.

Lighthouse Youth Center provides the community with a central location where youth can gather safely for recreational activities, receive assistance on their academic assignments, enjoy the positive influence of adult Christian mentors, and have opportunities to study and discuss the truths of Scripture.

Children's Wisconsin’s Milwaukee Mental Health Walk-In Clinic
Provides same-day care for children and teens (ages 5-18) experiencing urgent mental health issues. The clinic is designed to offer an alternative to traditional urgent care and emergency room services. Families can walk in or make a reservation online.

Primary participants in the KWW/CF are those experiencing a significant energy burden where other available resources are inadequate. Participants whose gross income is within the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP) gross income guidelines may qualify for supplemental support from the Fund.
