COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC 

Sixteenth Street, in partnership with Walgreens, will be offering a vaccination clinic with the 1 dose, Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine to eligible established patients.

When: March 27 & 28 from 9 AM - 4 PM

Where: Sixteenth Street Parkway, 2906 S. 20th St., Milwaukee, WI 53215

To make sure your vaccine appointment goes smoothly, please:

  • Have this form (English/Spanish) filled out and bring it to your appointment.
    • You can print the form above
    • Pick up the form at any local Walgreens pharmacy
    • Or arrive 15 minutes before your appointment
  • Bring a photo ID if you have one
  • Bring your insurance card if you have insurance

Note: You can still get a vaccine if you do not have a photo ID or insurance.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS - Water Only

Aug Prep families, this is a reminder that Aug Prep only allows clear water bottles at school and only water can be used to fill those clear water bottles.  No other drinks are allowed at school.  Thank You!

We continue to be so thankful and proud of our students, staff and families for your part in keeping our community safe.  As a reminder, it's important you report all COVID symptoms or exposures to us. Please report COVID symptoms, positive tests, exposures or travel using this form or by calling the school at 414-810-1380.

Middle School virtual faith event on Thursday, March 25th from 5:30pm-6:30pm

Dear MS Parents and Guardians,

We would like to invite you to our next Middle School virtual faith event on Thursday, March 25th from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Click here for the Zoom link.We look forward to coming together as One Community United in Christ to pause, praise, and worship together. We look forward to seeing you!

High School Important Dates - Parents, please mark your calendars!

On these days ALL students will be expected to come on to campus for mandatory state testing. Arrival time is 7:45 am and will dismissal is at 1:30 pm (if their parent has filled out the permission form) or normal time of 3:15. Lunch will be served.
Students should wear an Aug Prep top and can wear jeans or khakis (no holes). They should also bring a calculator and a pencil.

Attention 3rd-5th grade girls!

The Girls on the Run Spring Season is here! Girls on the Run is a great program that teaches girls about creating friendships and building confidence while training for a 5K run!
 
All 3rd-5th grade girls are able to participate. Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45-5:15pm starting on April 12th.
 
Registration opens online on Monday, March 15th. Paper registration forms will be available at the front office. Email jconnell@augprep.org with any questions, Go Lions!

New In-school Psychotherapist

We would like to introduce to you a new mental health option that we have available for our students! Vanessa Rosas is a therapist from Sixteenth Street Clinic, but works from our building, to see AugPrep students on a weekly basis.
Ms. Rosas will be working with Middle and High School students who get referred to her directly through our social work team. If you are interested in having your child be seen by Ms. Rosas, you can fill out this form (do not call Sixteenth Street directly). After filling out this form, your school social worker will be in communication with you.

Discounted Car Seats

A Bilingual Certified Passenger Safety Technician teaches parents how to correctly install their car seat and makes sure that their infant is fitted properly. Sixteenth Street offers car seats at a reduced price for patients of the clinic. Non-patients are welcome to the class but will not receive a reduced-price car seat.
