Summer School for K5 - 7 (*8th grade going to 9th grade, more information to come)

      • No School on July 5th

      • FREE to attend - Includes breakfast, lunch, games, and a safe learning environment!
      • There is no cost to attend summer school; however, students are required to wear a uniform. A uniform consists of the summer school t-shirt and regular uniform bottoms (pants, skirts, etc.), shoes, and socks. The summer school uniform t-shirt must be purchased through CfUT for $5/t-shirt. This is a non-refundable cost that must be submitted when the application is turned in. Additional shirts may be purchased.

      • Uplifting morning assembly each day
      • Hands-on learning focused on literacy and mathematics

  • Who is eligible?
      • Students from your school entering K5-8th grade.
      • Students must be enrolled for the 2021-2022 academic year and commit to attend 15 or more days.
      • Students who miss more than 4 days of summer school will not be allowed to continue in the program.
  • How do I enroll?
  • When is the deadline to register?
      • The deadline to register is May 21st.
  • What do I wear?
      • Students are required to wear a uniform which consists of the summer school t-shirt and regular uniform bottoms (pants, skirts, etc.), shoes, socks, and a mask. The summer school uniform t-shirt must be purchased through CfUT for $5. This is a non-refundable cost that must be submitted when the application is turned in. 
  • Is transportation provided?
      • No, transportation will not be provided for this program.
  • What precautions are you following for COVID-19?
      • Your safety is our top priority! Please know we are taking precautions to ensure your student’s safety while participating in summer school. The use of face masks or cloth face coverings is required for all staff and students. CfUT summer school will be following similar safety protocols in the approved safety plan for in-person instruction that were in place during the school year.
  • My scholar is eligible to enroll in summer school, but their sister, cousin, etc. are from a different school. Can the sister, cousin, etc. attend summer school?
      • No
  • Is there before/aftercare?
      • New info: This will depend on how many students would enroll for the after-school program and is pending.
  • What if I’m on the waiting list?
    • If a spot opens up, your school will contact you with the next steps.


  • Payment Note: if envelopes are returned without payment we will send them back with the parent or child.
    • With the online applications, CfUT will mark if they paid online through PayPal or if we should expect to receive a payment in person.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Aug Prep!

Walgreens will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Aug Prep on Sunday, April 18th, 2021 from 9 am to 5:45 pm. **Must be 18 and older. This is for the Johnson & Johnson one-time vaccine.
Eligible groups are encouraged to sign up! For more information about eligible groups please click on the link below.

Once you successfully make an appointment:
1. Skip the line! Complete the consent (sections A & B) and bring it to your appointment. Forms will be available in person as well.
2. Review the J&& EUA Form before arriving at your appointment.
3. Bring any photo ID and insurance card to your appointment.

Middle School Testing Dates - Parents, please mark your calendars!

Testing Dates:

  • April 13-14-15: 8th graders scholars at Aug Prep
  • April 20-21 7th grade scholars at Aug Prep

Scholars will need to bring their charged chromebook and charger.

Here is how we need your support to ensure we all stay healthy and safe:

  1. Parents should check that their child is not exhibiting symptoms or has had contact with anyone who has ***d positive for COVID prior to coming to school.  Please note that all staff is also required to complete screening/temperature checks. If your scholar or a family member has symptoms or has had contact as of or after March 15th. We ask that you complete the COVID Reporting Form.  If your child has traveled by plane, we also ask that you complete the COVID Reporting Form.   Parents will be directed to pull up in front of the school between 7:45-8:10AM.  Scholars will be temperature checked prior to leaving their car. Walkers will be screened upon arrival and parents will be contacted to pick their scholar up if they do not pass screening procedures. Scholars will need to be in their assigned classroom by 8:10AM.

  2. We will require scholars to wear masks at all times and ask that scholars bring an extra mask if they would like to change their mask mid day.

  3. In order to ensure social distancing, we will have no more than 16 scholars in a classroom.  For scholars that will be in bigger groups, we will use the Commons and ensure we follow social distancing precautions.  Groups in the Commons will not exceed 30 students. Breakfast and lunch will be served in the classroom.

  4. If a student exhibits symptoms, they will be moved to quarantine and a parent will be requested to pick them up.

  5. Middle school scholars will not be dismissed until 3:30PM on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 11:30AM on Wednesday.   Parents will be directed to park in the new parking lot, staff parking lot, or on the street. If you are using Pik my Kid for your younger child, we ask that you park in a lot or the street afterwards to wait for your middle school scholar.  Please do not come to the main entrance to take them to your vehicle.  We will escort them directly to you on these testing days.  If your scholar is walking, please give written consent via e-mail to  Note: We will not be able to dismiss scholars early as we do not want to disrupt the testing environment.

  6. Please note that Wednesday testing will be done by 11:30.  Please make arrangements to pick up your middle school scholar at 11:30.  They will be leaving the building at that time with bag lunches.

Additional information:

  • Scholars will not be required to wear uniforms; however, we do expect that scholars will  be dressed appropriately (no midriff/sleeveless shirts/ripped pants/hats/inappropriate slogans).

  • As we will need several staff members present to supervise your scholars, we will not offer virtual special classes (Bible, Forensics, Art, Music, Spanish, or Gym/PE). During this time, your scholars should work on ALEKs or projects and arrive at their next scheduled class on time.

Enclosed is an Informational Brochure for Families which gives more information about the assessment including its purpose, what scores will be provided, and how the scores will be used.

High School Important Dates - Parents, please mark your calendars!

On these days ALL students will be expected to come on to campus for mandatory state testing. Arrival time is 7:45 am and will dismissal is at 1:30 pm (if their parent has filled out the permission form) or normal time of 3:15. Lunch will be served.
Students should wear an Aug Prep top and can wear jeans or khakis (no holes). They should also bring a calculator and a pencil.

Discounted Car Seats

A Bilingual Certified Passenger Safety Technician teaches parents how to correctly install their car seat and makes sure that their infant is fitted properly. Sixteenth Street offers car seats at a reduced price for patients of the clinic. Non-patients are welcome to the class but will not receive a reduced-price car seat.
