Anneliese Lokken Elementary School Social Worker /

Ms. Lokken is passionate about serving students and families in the urban setting. She has a heart for helping children build a strong foundation for their future through understanding their emotions and building healthy habits.

Ms. Lokken joined the Aug Prep team during the 2018-2019 school year. She sees everyday as an opportunity to empower students and their families to reach their goals, become leaders in their communities, and to grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord.

Ms. Lokken earned her Bachelors degree in Social Work from Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois in 2017. While at Trinity, Ms. Lokken completed a study abroad program in Quito, Ecuador where she spent a semester immersed in the Ecuadorian culture, working with students who had significant challenges, both physically and mentally.

Additionally, Ms. Lokken worked as a camp counselor at a traveling day camp sharing the Gospel with elementary students in the greater Chicago area.

In 2018 Ms. Lokken completed her Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Denver, where she worked at two elementary schools in Aurora, Colorado. Ms. Lokken is licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker and has a School Social Work license through the Department of Instruction.
