Mrs. Schmidt was raised in Spokane, WA. Being called to teach Bible in the classroom, she attended Biola University in Los Angeles, CA, to study the Bible and theology. She went on to seminary and earned her master’s degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, IL. While studying at Trinity, Mrs. Schmidt sought out as many teaching opportunities as she could in the academic and church settings. Mrs. Schmidt has worked as an adjunct instructor at Trinity, served as a substitute teacher for public schools in Chicago, taught youth and adult education classes at her church, and coached club volleyball.
Mrs. Schmidt is passionate about providing students with a biblically centered education that equips them in mind, heart, and character to impact the world for Christ for the glory of God. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She and her husband, Clayton, live in Union Grove.
