Madeline Fischer Classroom Instructional Assistant: 1st Grade /

At the age of four, specifically in Ms. Judy’s preschool class, Ms. Fischer knew she wanted to be a teacher. Ms. Judy’s blueberry-scented stamp pad and sparkly pointer won Ms. Fischer’s heart and before she knew it, Ms. Fischer was reading books out loud “to her class,” creating worksheets, and writing out homework assignments on a chalkboard purchased from a school demolition sale.

The passion continued through elementary school, when most of her babysitting money was spent on stickers, erasable Venn Diagrams, borders for her bulletin boards and Happy Birthday pencils for the classroom she set up in her basement.

Needless to say, her passion for teaching was ignited at a very young age.

Ms. Fischer received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. This will be her second year of teaching, but her first year at Aug Prep. Excited is an understatement! She is looking forward to meeting all of the wonderful students and families within the Aug Prep community and is gearing up for a great year.
