Jennifer Green

Ms. Green was born and raised in the north west suburbs of Chicago. Ms. Green began her instructional career at Algonquin Middle School, teaching 6th – 8th grade students in all core content areas. She serviced students within the self contained setting and led the middle school special education team.

 

Following her first year, Ms. Green transitioned to Wheaton North High School. She taught English 9, English 11, American Government, Communication Studies and Creative Writing over the course of her eight year tenure. Ms. Green was a mentor teacher to new hires which included coaching and support, she led several statewide Professional Development opportunities, and was a part of a Professional Learning Community that developed curriculum in English Language Arts for surrounding high schools.

 

Ms. Green made a career and life change and moved to the great city of Milwaukee! She served as a Learning Specialist at Carmen School of Science and Technology.

 

Ms. Green attended both the University of Minnesota and Western Illinois as a student athlete. She is a certified K-12 highly qualified Learning and Behavior Specialist and Special Education teacher with endorsements in English Languages Arts and Social Studies.

 

Ms. Green enjoys most of her free time with her family and friends. She is an athlete at heart and loves to be active. She is always looking for the next great book to read or recipe to make. She is full of gratitude to be a part of the St. Augustine family, and looks forward to servicing students, families and staff.
