WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE APPLICATION PROCESS
The Aug Prep hiring process is intentionally rigorous. This is an outstanding place to work and we seek to hire only the best. We also know finding the “right fit” cannot be determined in thirty minutes, so we use our process to ensure this is the right place for you and you are the right fit for us.
TIMELINE
On average, our hiring process takes between two and six weeks, depending on the role and availability. Roles are posted as they become available and generally between Thanksgiving and mid-January for the upcoming school year.
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Complete an application on our website (15 minutes)
- Tell us more about yourself (short written response or video) (15-30 minutes)
- Phone or virtual interview (30 minutes)
- Note: in preparation for this interview you will complete two short surveys (20 minutes)
- Campus visit and in-person interview (1.5+ hours)
- Note: may require preparation of a lesson plan or other work scenarios
- Interview with leadership team member (30 minutes)
- Reference check
- Offer issued conditional upon drug screen, background check and transcript review
SummerSpark! We strongly encourage new team members to participate in some or all of our summer program, SummerSpark! This is a great way to get to know our systems, our team, and most importantly--our students! The program runs June 23 - July18 and team members are compensated for their time.
Note: Aug Prep is accredited through WRISA and follows their requirements regarding degrees and certifications; we will work with you to create a plan should you need additional credits
