Gus Ramirez inducted into Georgia Tech College of Engineering Alumni Hall of Fame
Gus Ramirez, Founder and Chairman of Husco International, Inc. and St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, was inducted into the 2022 Georgia Tech College of Engineering Alumni Hall of Fame on April 23rd.
Ramirez, who received a Bachelor’s (1968) and a Master’s (1969) degree in Aerospace Engineering, thanked Georgia Tech for launching him “through the Aerospace Department and to a career that has been far more successful than ever expected.”
Inductees to the Georgia Tech College of Engineering Hall of Fame are recognized for reaching the highest levels of achievement in their professional endeavors as well as their commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Aug Prep awarded $18 million in new market tax credits for new elementary school
St. Augustine Preparatory Academy will receive $18 million in federal new market credits to support its planned $49 million new elementary school building on Milwaukee’s south side.
