In 2017, we set out to build a school that was great for ALL kids. Today, Aug Prep stands as a beacon of hope, guiding our 1,800+ students on Milwaukee’s south side toward a future where their dreams take flight. With our acquisition of the former Cardinal Stritch University campus, we are expanding Aug Prep’s reach and impact with a new campus on Milwaukee’s north side. Yet, this expansion goes beyond bricks and mortar; it will allow students across Milwaukee to soar upward where their education, potential, and future know no bounds.

We are proud of the school we have built and are excited to bring much of that model to our new campus.

- Opening in 2026 with grades K4-6 and 9, we will grow over time to serve over 1,000 students in grades K4-12
- We are diverse by design, serving students from a variety of racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds
- We will welcome Choice and tuition paying students
- We are a college preparatory school ensuring our students can follow whatever career path their skills and passions point them to
- We serve the whole child, building in character education daily and offering classes in arts and athletics (as well as numerous out of school choices)
WHAT WE KNOW

- EUA will be the architect
- VJS Construction Services will be the general contractor
- We will tear down and construct new, state-of-the art buildings on approximately 80% of the campus
- We will renovate the remaining 20% of the campus, including the arts building, the campus center, and the library library
- In 2026, we will open with approximately 300 students in grades K4-6 and 9, we will grow over time to serve over 1,000 students in grades K4-12
- Our total project (including property) will cost nearly $100 million, of which we will fundraise approximately $25 million
- We will not provide student busing
- All students will take classes that include arts, athletics, and STEM
