Arrival & Dismissal Instructions

IMPORTANT: Arrival and dismissal procedures differ for, elementary, middle and high school. Please read carefully. We appreciate your patience on the first days of school as families get familiar to our arrival and dismissal process.
 

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

To make our arrival process as efficient as possible, we want to introduce the "Seatbelts Off, Book Bags On" drop-off technique. As parents approach our drop-off area, we ask that you prepare your students to be ready for drop-off by announcing "Seatbelts Off, Book Bags On" and exit the vehicle as quickly and safely as possible. NOTE: Parents, if you wish to walk your student to the door and say farewell, please park and walk them over to the assigned door. We kindly ask that parents not exit the vehicle as this will cause traffic. We thank everyone for your patience during the first week of school while families adjust to morning arrival/dismissal.

 

 

Doors open at 7:20 a.m. for all students. We ask that young children are not left unattended before 7:20 a.m. Students will enter doors depending on their grade level. See below:

Grades K4 - 5th students must be in their classroom by 8 a.m. 


Grades 6 - 12 students must be in their classroom by 7:45 a.m. 


Please allow sufficient time for students to enter the doors, pick up breakfast and get to their classroom.


You are welcome to walk your student to the doors however we ask that you please park in the visitor's parking lot and not on the roundabout drop-off area as that will cause traffic.

DISMISSAL INSTRUCTIONS


Elementary school - Please download the PikMyKid app. All parents are required to have this in order to identify their students. Instructions can be found here. Not downloading the app will cause delays in traffic, if you need assistance, please contact [email protected]. Dismissal begins at 2:45 p.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Our safety will be outside to guide your vehicle on where to line up or park. You are able to use the drive-through procedure or park nearby and use the ‘Walkers lane’. If using the Walkers option, please walk up Doors 3 and check in with our front desk staff (will be outside).


Middle School - Students will be dismissed from Harrison street at 3:15 p.m. 


High School - Students will be dismissed from the main doors at 3:15 p.m.

 
Note: The main office is closed during dismissal time from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. If you must pick up a student, please plan on arriving prior to 2:30 p.m. Thank you for your understanding.
