Takisha Moncrief

Dr. Takisha Moncrief has spent nearly 30 years in education as a classroom teacher, district administrator, and educational consultant. She has led meaningful and impactful work in curriculum development, school improvement, and professional learning. Before joining Aug Prep, Dr. Moncrief served as a national consultant and instructional coach, advocating for high-quality teaching and learning in urban schools.

 

As Chief Academic Officer at Aug Prep, Dr. Moncrief leads the K–12 academic vision in partnership with school leaders. She guides the design, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional practices aimed to support student growth and achievement across all grade levels. Her leadership extends to curriculum planning, data-informed decision-making, and supporting coaches and teachers in driving continuous improvement.

 

Dr. Moncrief is deeply committed to building a culture of high expectations as well as engaging and challenging learning experiences that lead to student independence. She empowers educators to lead with confidence and expertise, ensuring every student receives exceptional education and the opportunity to thrive.

 

Dr. Moncrief holds degrees in Elementary Education and Administrative Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a doctorate from Dallas Baptist University, where she deepened her commitment to servant leadership.
