Aug Prep has raised $9.5 million for north campus with surprise $750,000 donation from Baird Foundation, employees

Launching the public phase of their $25 million fundraising campaign for a new, north shore campus at the former Cardinal Stritch campus, leaders at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy announced Thursday that they have already raised $9.5 million for the effort, bringing them closer to their goal.

Aug Prep Announces Bold New Plans for K-12 North Campus

Milwaukee (February 27, 2024) – St. Augustine Preparatory Academy (“Aug Prep”), a high-performing K4-12 Christian school, announced today bold new plans to invest a total of $100 million to transform the former Cardinal Stritch University property into St. Augustine Preparatory Academy’s North Campus. Plans for the school, which will be known as Aug Prep North, now include significant new construction, along with some renovation and upgrades to existing buildings.

Ramirez Family Foundation raising about $15M for choice school on former Cardinal Stritch campus

The Ramirez Family Foundation aims to raise about $15 million over the next 18 months for its planned $50 million conversion of the former Cardinal Stritch University campus into a state choice program grade school.

“That’s a big pull; we’ve never done that,” said Gus Ramirez, who leads the foundation with his wife, Becky. “We need a lot of friends.”
