Matt Miller
Matt Miller is honored to serve as President of St. Augustine Preparatory Academy, where he is dedicated to creating a student-centered environment that nurtures growth, integrity, and opportunity for every student.
After graduating from Kenyon College in 1997 with a degree in Biology, Matt began his career in education as a middle school science teacher at St. Rose. In 2008, he helped create and develop a non-profit at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center.
Matt joined Aug Prep in 2017 as the founding Athletic Director and later served as Chief Operating Officer, where he led daily operations and acted as the owner’s representative for the school’s construction projects. He was a participant in the Burke Fellowship Program, which deepened his commitment to servant leadership. Through the fellowship, he earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Alverno College in 2021.
In 2024, Matt stepped into the role of President with deep gratitude and an unwavering commitment to students, families, and the community. He strives to lead with the spirit of Micah 6:8—seeking to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. This verse grounds him and shapes his belief in doing what’s right for kids—every single day.
