Jacob Carlson

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jacob attended Cardinal Stritch University before
transferring to Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) following Stritch’s closure. He graduated
magna cum laude from CUW with a degree in Business Administration.
Throughout his collegiate career, Jacob served in a variety of educational leadership roles,
including Admissions Coordinator Intern at Cardinal Stritch University, Admissions Events and
Visits Intern at Concordia University Wisconsin, and Development Operations Intern at St.
Augustine Preparatory Academy (Aug Prep).
Following graduation, Jacob joined the Aug Prep team full-time as the Development Events and
Stewardship Specialist, a role he held for over a year. He later made the decision to join his
family’s electrical contracting business in Wisconsin, where he served as Operations Manager
and Apprentice Electrician. As the family business continues to grow and flourish, Jacob chose to
return to his passion for education and is grateful and excited to do so.
Jacob strives to be a servant leader among his peers and within the broader community. He takes
pride in going the “extra mile” for every family he works with—ensuring all questions are
answered, the path forward is clear, and each interaction with the Aug Prep team is positive,
enriching, and impactful. He is excited to once again be a member of the Aug Prep community
and to help foster an environment where both current and prospective students can grow in mind,
body, and spirit.
In addition, Jacob actively volunteers with numerous organizations across Wisconsin, including
the Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association of School
Councils (WASC), the School Sisters of St. Francis, and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and
Grade School. In Jacob’s spare time, he enjoys antiquing, road trips with loved ones and family,
golfing, and finding new ways to deepen his faith with Christ.
