Aimee Wetenkamp

Aimee Leigh Wetenkamp is a passionate theatre educator dedicated to fostering creativity,
confidence, and collaboration in young performers. With extensive experience as a director,
adjudicator, and instructor, Aimee has led numerous productions, inspiring students to develop
their artistic voices while building essential life skills. Her commitment to arts education is rooted
in the belief that theater has the power to transform lives, instilling empathy, discipline, and a
deep appreciation for storytelling.

Beyond the classroom, Aimee has served as an adjudicator for the Illinois High School Musical
Theater Awards and ILMEA, as well as a guest director and performer in various regional
productions. Her MFA education and years of hands-on experience have equipped her to create
an inclusive and inspiring environment where students can thrive both on and off the stage.
