Brita Willis

Brita Willis brings significant leadership, teaching and coaching experience at private and parochial schools to her role as the founding K-8 Assistant Principal at Aug Prep North.


Prior to joining Aug Prep, Brita served as the principal of St. Dominic Catholic School in Brookfield. She previously spent more than a decade as a lower school teacher at University School of Milwaukee, where she held leadership roles as the department chair for both social emotional learning and social studies. She also coached robotics and high school track and field. She began her career teaching elementary students at Holy Cross College Preparatory Academy in West Sacramento, Calif.


She also has experience with the application of technology in the classroom, working as a content author and national trainer for Nearpod, a tool for interactive instruction used by schools around the globe.


She earned a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Portland as a member of the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education program and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marquette University, where she also was a track and field student-athlete.


Brita is excited to serve the students, families and staff at Aug Prep, where she looks forward to nurturing the unique talents and gifts that every child can use to glorify God. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking, biking, fishing or going for a walk.
