Colleen Mendyk

Colleen brings more than two decades of experience in education and student support. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the UW-Madison, followed by a post-baccalaureate certification in Special Education from the UW-Milwaukee. She later completed her Master’s degree in Reading and Language Arts at Cardinal Stritch University and is currently pursuing an associate degree in Human Resources at WCTC.
Since beginning her career in 2001, Colleen has served as an elementary teacher, reading teacher, and district literacy coach. In 2024, she transitioned into Human Resources, where she is grateful to support a school community that values faith-based education and a deep love for Jesus.
Outside of work, Colleen enjoys spending time outdoors—whether hiking or camping on her property in Northern Wisconsin—and cherishes quiet moments with her cat, Bo Bo.
