Michelle Aleman

I was born in Georgia and moved to Wisconsin at the age of 4. Since then, I have been raised in Milwaukee. I have four years of experience working with K4 and K5 students, and I truly enjoy this age group because this is where the journey of learning begins.

Working as a teacher's assistant has come with many ups and downs, but the most rewarding part is serving children and the community around us. A quote that resonates with my journey is, "Your education is something that no one can ever take from you." This quote is especially meaningful to me because my immigrant parents had little to no formal education. Their experiences taught me the importance of education and the value of showing up not only for ourselves, but also for the children we serve.

I attended MATC, where I completed my general education studies, and I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in Birth to 3rd Grade Education at Alverno College.

Three things about me are that I love traveling, spending time outdoors in nature, and being with the people who matter most to me.

I can't wait for this new chapter to begin, and I am excited about everything I will learn at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy.
