Deborah Gerner

Mrs. Debbie Gerner brings 15 years of public and parochial classroom teaching experience to St. Augustine Prep, along with nearly a decade serving as an Educational Interpreter in American Sign Language. Guided by her deep Christian faith, she is excited to continue a life of joyful service to Christ in her new role as 3rd grade teacher during this inaugural school year. She delights in nurturing her students both academically and spiritually while cultivating a warm, loving classroom environment where every student feels valued and inspired.

Debbie and her husband are the proud parents of three adult children and are also happily blessed with a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law. As empty-nesters, they enjoy playing pickleball together whenever possible. Debbie finds relaxation in playing the piano and curling up with a good book.
