Nicholas Wycklendt

Nicholas Wycklendt graduated from Marquette University in 2011 with a degree in secondary education and history.  He began his teaching career subbing in various districts and developed a passion for working with kids with special needs.  He then got his cross-categorical special Ed license and masters degree with an emphasis on Emotional Behavioral Disabilities. 
 
 He worked for two years at La Causa Charter School, ranging from grades 1-8. Nicholas then spent 2 years in the Whitnall School District, with an emphasis on working with students who display behavioral challenges.  
 
Nicholas then spent the past 4 years in New Berlin, Ronald Reagan Elementary School working with a variety of grades and students.  During this time, he went back to school and got his administrative license, principal and director of instructions,  masters in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. Once he finished that, he took more responsibilities at his elementary school, focusing on restorative practices and circles. 
 
Nicholas has a passion for baseball and has coached for the past 17 years.  He and his wife, Kimberlee have three children, 6, 4, and 1. Nicholas and his family reside in Greendale. 
 
Nicholas is looking forward to beginning his position as Lower Elementary Dean of Students, getting to know all of the Aug Prep kids and families!
