Laura Haering
Laura is very excited to be starting her first year at Aug Prep in 2023! She grew up in the NW suburbs of Chicago but moved out to CA to pursue music and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Saxophone Performance. She has played with many great musicians such as Barry Manilow, Rick Baptist, Steve Houghton and many others, as well as was part of the Disneyland College Band, Cedar Point Retro Show, Boomerang Motown Band (in Los Angles), many pit orchestras for musicals and even recorded at Capitol Records in Los Angeles. She has also taught private music lessons for over 20 years and this will be her 3rd year teaching music in the Milwaukee area.
Laura has a passion for powerlifting, holding multiple IPL World, National and State records and is excited to get the opportunity to work with the young athletes at Aug Prep to encourage and strengthen their inner souls and outer bodies through this discipline. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM.
Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Adam (married 2023) and her 2 stepsons sailing on Lake Michigan, eating great food, exploring new places and exercising.
She is super excited to be joining the Aug Prep team this year and to share her love for music and Jesus with all those around her!
