Emily Ashcraft

Mrs. Harris grew up outside of Seattle, Washington and remains a mountain enthusiast to this day. She began volunteering with Kindergarten students when she was 12 years old and has been involved in education ever since.

 

After graduating from Central Washington University in 2018 with a BA in Education and a TESL minor, Mrs. Harris taught for three years in public and private education. While teaching she developed a passion for guiding students towards healthy spiritual formation and social emotional literacy, which led her to pursue Bible school here in Wisconsin.

 

Upon completing Bible school Mrs. Harris returned to full time education with a renewed joy for communicating the love of Jesus to her students while striving for academic excellence. She is excited to join the Aug Prep team and looks forward to partnering with teachers, parents, and the local community.

When she isn’t teaching, Mrs. Harris enjoys writing picture books (2 published so far!), engaging with her church community and exploring the outdoors of Wisconsin with her husband.
